      St. Paul's Cathedral is considered the architectural crown of the city of Mdina. Built in the late 17th century, this masterpiece of Maltese architect Lorenzo Gafa '(Lorenzo Gafa), in the baroque style, is located on the spot where once stood the church of Norman, destroyed by earthquake in 1693.

      The interior of the cathedral is made of Irish wood. Visitors will be able to see the work of the Cathedral Kalabryyskaga artist and Knight Mattia Preti, in particular, a monumental image of "The Conversion of Saint Paul", which was originally part of Norman church, and several engravings of Albrecht Dürer.

      No one can ignore the marble tombstones decorated with coats of arms and pasvyachennyamі bishops of Mdina.
